Our History
Richard Scruggs founded Scruggs Automotive Repair in 1981 in Tonawanda, NY. With more than 20 years under our belt, we have made a name for ourselves as one of the area’s most reliable car repair shops. Today, we are proud to be a family-owned business that continues serving the community with the same high-quality standards we established more than 40 years ago. Our team comprises experienced ASE-certified technicians who possess the latest automotive technology to provide superior service on domestic and foreign vehicles.
Over the years, we have expanded our reach by opening our newest location in Elma. This expansion has allowed us to bring the same level of care and quality to the people of Elma/ East Aurora and the surrounding area. Under the leadership of Jeff Scruggs, Richard’s son, who is now the CEO, our shops have continued to grow while still providing the highest quality services to our customers. When Jeff is not in the office, he loves enjoying his free time with his family, camping in Allegany, or attending any of the many Jeep/4×4 events we host. We take pride in our “family-business” atmosphere.
