Service Advocate

The Service Advocate is responsible for providing exceptional service to Scruggs Automotive clients by overseeing vehicle repairs, ensuring client satisfaction, and coordinating with the service team. This role focuses on maintaining client retention, managing service-related concerns, and fostering long-term relationships with clients. The Service Advocate will also utilize various software tools to manage daily operations and ensure the efficiency and success of the service department.

Responsibilities

  • Client Retention & Satisfaction: Lead initiatives to enhance client experience, improve satisfaction, and increase retention through proactive follow-up, feedback loops, and performance tracking.
  • Service Department Operation: Manage work orders, repair logistics, and system updates while supporting team efficiency and maintaining high operational standards.
  • Client Communication & Feedback: Act as the main client liaison, ensuring clear communication, timely issue resolution, and continuous service improvement through feedback analysis.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Create and present service and budget reports to guide departmental improvements and strategic decision-making.
  • Software & Tools Management: Maintain and optimize service software usage, ensuring staff proficiency and operational efficiency.
  • Event Coordination: Organize and support both internal and community events to boost team morale and enhance brand presence.
  • Ongoing Development: Engage in continuous learning and team collaboration to stay current with industry trends and support professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a service department or client-facing role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship-building.
  • Experience with service management software systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • General understanding of automotive repair processes and terminology.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
